Final Fantasy VII Revelation gets an April PS5 date

Square Enix announced an April 8, 2027 PS5 release date for Final Fantasy VII Revelation in a September 3 PlayStation Blog post. It gives series followers a calendar anchor without requiring them to watch every demonstration.

For story-driven RPGs, intensive marketing coverage can cost you surprises. One useful approach is to separate practical information from narrative reveals: dates, platforms, and language support help with planning, while scenes, encounters, and unfamiliar locations can wait for the game.

Organize any backlog around available time rather than treating preparation as a compulsory marathon. If you revisit earlier chapters, decide whether the goal is remembering the story, exploring systems, or finishing outstanding content. Those are different activities and need different pacing.

This report records an announcement, not a verdict on the RPG. Performance, length, and quality require evidence from actual play. Our take: add the date to your calendar and choose how much promotional material you want to consume. Do you watch every trailer or prefer arriving with as little advance knowledge as possible?
