Halloween gamer: what to play tonight (if you dare)

Today is October 31. If the lights are staying off, the PS Store filled the week with horror, and Game Pass drops a batch today.

Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy arrived on PS5 on October 27, 2026. Susan's daughter has been taken. The trilogy's final chapter sends her to Villa Ashmann, after the Red Nun. The PlayStation listing describes a classic third-person survival horror with an Italian neo-giallo twist: hide, evade, and fight back when you have to.

Hunter's Moon launched on PS5 on October 26, 2026 in Europe, the UK, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In North America, on October 25. It is first-person folk horror, set across one night. You play a woman accused of witchcraft, with hunters after her, in a 17th-century English village. The PlayStation Blog presents the game as a PS5 exclusive.

Mouthwashing arrived on October 29, 2026 on PS4 and PS5. The psychological horror that was already on PC follows the crew of the freighter Tulpar, stranded in space. The listing flags blood, intense violence and strong language. On Xbox, the same game joined Game Pass on October 29, on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC.

As a bonus, Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux got a next-gen update on PS5 on October 29, 2026. Deep Silver says it is free for people who already own the games. It is not a remake: it is Redux with native PS5 support.

And hurry. These nine leave Game Pass today, October 31, 2026, on cloud, console and PC:

• Day of the Tentacle Remastered
• Dead Static Drive
• Deep Rock Galactic
• Full Throttle Remastered
• Grim Fandango Remastered
• Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
• Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
• Wartales
• Wildgate

The list is from the October 20, 2026 Xbox Wire post. Football Manager 26 waits until November 10, in the same post.
