LEGO PlayStation turns console nostalgia into a display build

Sony and LEGO introduced a 1,911-piece set inspired by the original PlayStation on September 3. The announcement schedules early access in selected markets from October 1, 2026. It is a buildable replica, not a working console.

The appeal is revisiting a familiar object through a different experience: assembling it, examining details, and deciding how to display it. For people with memories of older games, that process can be the point without pretending the item improves setup performance.

Before following a collector's impulse, check assembled dimensions, available space, and box contents. Keep early-access dates separate from general availability, and verify the sales channel for your country. An international schedule does not establish local delivery.

We have not built the set or confirmed Brazilian pricing. Our take is to judge it by its stated purpose: a hobby and display piece for fans. If you created a corner for gaming memories, what would sit beside it: an old controller, a favorite game, or a photograph from that period?
