ASUS expanded its compact OLED lineup at Gamescom. Screen size, resolution, and PC performance belong in the same comparison.

ASUS introduced additional 24.5-inch ROG OLED monitors on August 25. The lineup includes the PG259QWS Ace, announced with Full HD resolution and 720 Hz. Those are manufacturer specifications, not measurements from our newsroom.
The compact format stands out when an upgrade is often associated with a larger screen. For players sitting close and wanting the whole playing field within easy view, size can be a deliberate preference. People working with several windows may have different priorities.
Maximum refresh rate also needs to match the PC and game. Buying a fast display does not make a computer produce frames at that rate. A useful comparison should examine resolution, settings, delivery consistency, and motion clarity, alongside comfort when reading text during the day.
We have not tested the panels or confirmed Brazilian prices. Our take is that the expanded lineup offers a combination worth investigating without removing tradeoffs between competitive play, productivity, and cost. Before looking at the biggest number on the box, establish your viewing distance and the games you actually spend evenings playing.
