ASUS introduced the ROG Spatha X 65K on August 25 with 12 programmable buttons and modular weight adjustment. It aims to place more commands in the mouse hand, particularly for MMO players.

That can appeal to people spreading many abilities across a keyboard, but the value depends on organization. Moving every possible action to the thumb does not establish fast recognition. The adaptation period also belongs in the decision.

One practical way to assess the idea is grouping commands by purpose, such as movement, utility, and frequently used actions. Begin with a few changes and keep a visible map until they become familiar. This is an evaluation approach, not a tested product configuration or advice to disregard a game's macro rules.

We have not handled Spatha. Our take is that button count should be assessed alongside size, reach, and tactile distinction. Separate profiles may help people who also work on the PC avoid confusion between daily tasks and a match. Which MMO action would be easier to reach away from the keyboard?
