Fortnite's Treasure Hunters season started on November 1, 2026, in a collaboration with One Piece. Epic Games' announcement brings a new island, Crossbones Isle, for 80 players, with Arlong Park and Windmill Village. It also has One Piece powers: you can drop in as Luffy with the Gum-Gum Fruit and use Zoro's Three Sword Style. Each week a new captain arrives with their own crew and a point of interest. The Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky lead. Lil Uzi Vert, Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto follow.
Pirate Shop Access is not in that announcement. Polygon, Dexerto, VICE and Destructoid describe a rare reward from opening chests in Battle Royale. Most of the time the chest pays a Gizmo. A cosmetic is also possible. The rare reward is Pirate Shop Access, and the whole squad gets it.
Once it is activated, you can claim, free for 14 days, whatever the Item Shop sells for V-Bucks. A claimed item stays on the account. Polygon includes skins, emotes and Jam Tracks.
- Two activations. The 2026 one can be used until December 15, 2026. The other starts on January 1, 2027. Dexerto puts the end of that second window at December 15, 2027.
- The 14 days start only when you activate it, through the "Plunder the Item Shop" option in the Shop. VICE describes that button.
- Real-money offers stay out. Polygon names packs and Fortnite Crew. Dexerto adds gifts, Battle Pass levels and rewards, and says the access cannot move to another account.
- A Sidekick you already own stays out. VICE says you can claim only one of each.
- Epic has not published the drop chance. Dexerto records that. There is no official number, and nothing confirms that Treasure Hours raise this reward.
On the official One Piece shop calendar:
- Luffy, Nami and Usopp from the season launch. Polygon puts the bundle at 4,000 V-Bucks.
- A$AP Rocky on November 5, at 7 p.m. ET, 9 p.m. in Brasília.
- Zoro, Sanji and the Chopper Sidekick on November 7.
- Lil Uzi Vert on November 12, Buggy on November 13, Kasane Teto and Cap'n Hatsune Miku on November 14.
The season Battle Pass features Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin.
Our take: if the chest pays out, wait until the skin you want is in the shop before you activate. The 14 days start on that click.
