Krafton announced on October 30, 2026 that PUBG is in development as a live-action series at Netflix. The release went out in English on Games Press and, the same day, in Japanese from Krafton Japan on PR Times. Donald Glover will direct, write, executive produce and star. Stephen Glover joins as a writer and executive producer.
In the same text, Michael Schaefer (NEON TV), Fam Udeorji (Gilga) and Taeseok Jang and Sujin Lee (LV3H) are also executive producers. LV3H is Krafton's entertainment arm and is involved in the development and production of the series.
The release does not give a premiere window, an episode count or a synopsis.
Our take: for now this is a project in development, not a date for the calendar. What is signed is the team and the platform.
